Checklist 1

Counselling documents

The typical file for EAPCET / NEET / ICET counselling. The final list comes in each official notification - keep originals plus two sets of photocopies.

  • Rank card of the entrance exam
  • Entrance exam hall ticket
  • 10th class marks memo
  • Intermediate marks memo & pass certificate
  • Transfer certificate (TC)
  • Study certificates (usually classes 6 to Intermediate)
  • Caste certificate (if applicable) - recent, from MeeSeva
  • Income certificate (for fee reimbursement) - recent, from MeeSeva
  • EWS certificate (if applicable)
  • Aadhaar card of the student
  • Recent passport-size photographs (6–8)
  • Local status / residence proof where asked
  • Medical or PH certificate (if claiming that category)
  • NCC / Sports / CAP certificates (if claiming those categories)
Checklist 2

Study abroad - 18-month timeline

Working backwards from your target intake. Started late? Compress the early phases - or ask us whether the next intake is smarter.

  • 18–15 months before: shortlist countries by budget; free consultation to set the plan
  • 15–12 months: prepare for and take IELTS/TOEFL (and GRE/GMAT if needed)
  • 12–10 months: finalise university shortlist - safe, target, ambitious
  • 10–8 months: write SOP drafts, arrange LORs, prepare documents
  • 8–6 months: submit applications before priority deadlines
  • 6–4 months: track admits; compare offers honestly, not by brand alone
  • 4–3 months: accept an offer; apply for education loan / arrange funds
  • 3–2 months: pay deposits; collect financial documents for the visa file
  • 2–1 months: book the visa slot; prepare for the interview
  • Final month: flights, accommodation, forex, insurance, packing list

Education loan paperwork

The typical file banks ask for. Exact lists vary by bank and loan size - we prepare a personalised version in your consultation.

  • Admission / offer letter from the institution
  • Fee structure from the college or university
  • Entrance rank card (where applicable)
  • 10th, Intermediate and degree marks memos
  • KYC of student - Aadhaar, PAN, passport-size photos
  • KYC of parent / co-applicant - Aadhaar, PAN
  • Co-applicant income proof - salary slips or ITRs (usually 2–3 years)
  • Co-applicant bank statements (usually 6 months)
  • Collateral documents for larger loans - property papers, valuation
  • For abroad: university I-20 / CAS / offer letter and cost sheet
  • Margin money proof where the bank requires it
